Electronic Access Control System
allows you to regulate entry into your facility, a portion of your facility or as simple as a single door, perhaps an IT/Server room that requires 24 hour supervision and limited access. Typically, either Key Fobs or Proximity Cards (with or without photo badging) are provided.
When a “Keyfob or Proximity Card” are presented to a reader, the reader sends information to a control panel with a highly reliable processor. The panel compares the credentials presented to the access control panels list, grants or denies the presented request and logs the transaction to a database. If access is denied the door remains locked, a match and the access control panel operate a relay to unlock the door. Often the reader provides feedback such as a flashing LED for access denied or a flashing green LED for access granted.
From Retail to Warehouse, Storage facility or your Home Inter County Alarm can design a system to meet your needs and budget.
